One day remains until the highly awaited Arabian MMA celebration, and 16 competitors weighed in at the BRAVE CF 67 official weigh-ins in Riffa, Bahrain, in the "fight before the fight." Eldar Eldarov of Bahrain, the BRAVE CF Super Lightweight champion, failed to reach the requisite weight of 79.8 kilos prior to his Super Welterweight match against Denis Maher of Belarus. Only 15 competitors made weight as a main-event athlete (79.2 kilograms).
Eldarov of Bahrain, who entered the weighing room with an 80.6-kilogram reading, will now forfeit 30% of his bout fee, which will go to Maher.
The fight between Yannis Ghemmouri of France (66.1 kilogrammes) and Bair Shtepin of Russia (65.7 kilogrammes), who will compete at featherweight, has been confirmed as the co-main event. Mahmoud Sebie, an Olympian from Egypt, and Wajdi Missaoui, a fighter from Tunisia, will square off in a highly anticipated Super Lightweight matchup. Both fighters will be making their BRAVE CF debuts.
