BRAVE CF announces 2025 End of Year Award winners

BRAVE Combat Federation has unveiled its 2025 End of Year Award winners, honoring standout performances across multiple categories following a fan vote conducted through the promotion’s social media platforms.

Knockout of the Year went to Bulgaria’s Plamen Penchev, who needed just 54 seconds to stop Sofiane Bouafia with a looping right hand at BRAVE CF 97 in July.

Submission of the Year was awarded to Serbia’s Borislav Nikolić for his fourth-round guillotine choke against Nicholas Hwende at BRAVE CF 96, a victory that earned him the bantamweight title.

India’s Owais Yaqoob claimed Breakout Fighter of the Year after securing finishes at BRAVE CF 98 and BRAVE CF 103.

The Nikolić-Hwende clash at BRAVE CF 96 was also named Fight of the Year, praised for its intensity and dramatic conclusion.

England’s Mim Grubb received a special award as Female Fighter of the Year, going unbeaten in 2025 with wins at BRAVE CF 97 and BRAVE 100.

The promotion’s highest honor, Fighter of the Year, went to Nikolić, who defended his bantamweight crown at BRAVE 100 after dethroning Hwende earlier in the year.
