One of the most anticipated matchups at BRAVE CF 106 may not involve championship gold.
Slovenia's David Forster and Bosnia's Amil Tutić are set to meet in a 77.5-kilogram catchweight rematch on Saturday at Hala Tivoli in Ljubljana, revisiting a rivalry that began with a controversial encounter at BRAVE CF 102 in November 2025.
Their first meeting produced one of the most intense contests of the year. Across three rounds, both fighters traded heavy strikes and momentum swings while tensions repeatedly spilled beyond the action. Verbal exchanges, shoving incidents and multiple interventions from the referee highlighted the growing animosity between the two competitors.
When the fight went to the scorecards, Forster earned a narrow unanimous decision victory, but the result did little to settle the dispute. Questions surrounding the outcome and frustration from both camps lingered long after the final bell.
Now, the rivals will share the cage once again with both men confident they can leave no doubt this time around.
Forster has remained critical of Tutić's conduct during their first meeting, accusing the Bosnian fighter of repeatedly crossing the line inside the cage.
"He was throwing elbows to the back of my head and acting like he does not even know the basic rules of MMA," Forster said. "That is not how you fight. If that is the way he wants to compete, then he should be doing it in a bar, not inside a cage."
Tutić, meanwhile, believes he should have emerged victorious from their first encounter and insists he was the fighter dictating the action throughout the bout.
"I pushed that fight from start to finish," Tutić said. "I made him uncomfortable, and I made him look like he was losing in front of his own people. I should have had my hand raised."
The Bosnian contender also warned that he has improved significantly since their first meeting and expects a more decisive outcome in the rematch.
"There will be no controversy this time," Tutić said. "But it is also wrong for him to accept this rematch because I am a better fighter now than I was before. He is taking a risk he does not understand."
Forster dismissed those claims and vowed to avoid another close decision in front of his home crowd.
"He can say what he wants and believe what he wants," Forster said. "I am not leaving it in the judges' hands again. I am going to finish him early and finally shut him up."
The rematch is part of a stacked BRAVE CF 106 card headlined by two world championship bouts, but the lingering bad blood between Forster and Tutić could make their clash one of the most compelling fights of the night.
