BRAVE Combat Federation kicked off 2026 in emphatic fashion as BRAVE CF 104 delivered a memorable night inside the Aleksandar Nikolić Hall in Belgrade, Serbia.
Across 12 bouts, fans witnessed dominant displays, statement victories, and performances that reshaped divisional conversations. While the card was stacked with talent, five fighters separated themselves with efforts that truly defined the event.
Luciano Palhano
Brazil’s Luciano Palhano silenced the Belgrade crowd with a composed and calculated main event performance against hometown favorite Nikola Joksović.
The 39-year-old veteran wasted no time asserting control. From the opening round, Palhano relied on relentless takedowns and tight top control to dictate the tempo. His ground-and-pound was consistent and punishing, while submission attempts kept Joksović defensive throughout the contest.
Over three rounds, Palhano showcased his grappling pedigree, earning a clear unanimous decision victory. With such a dominant outing, he has firmly entered the conversation for a clash with interim champion Alex “Da Killa King” Lohoré for the vacant Super Welterweight world title.
Miha Frlic
Miha Frlic produced one of the most destructive displays of the evening in the co-main event. The Slovenian heavyweight contender needed less than a round to dismantle Italy’s Samuele Di Guardo.
A thunderous right hand dropped Di Guardo early, and Frlic immediately capitalized with relentless ground strikes. Sharp elbows and sustained pressure left no room for recovery, prompting a swift referee stoppage.
The emphatic finish reinforced Frlic’s status as a top contender and strengthened his case for a future showdown with heavyweight champion Pavel “The Experiment” Dailidko.
Borislav Nikolić
Fighting in front of his home fans, Bantamweight world champion Borislav Nikolić delivered a performance worthy of the spotlight. Taking on Portugal’s Matheus Malta in a 64-kilogram catchweight bout, Nikolić overcame early adversity.
Malta’s persistent takedown attempts created tense exchanges in the opening round. However, once Nikolić established his striking rhythm, the momentum shifted decisively.
In the second round, the Serbian unleashed sharp combinations that culminated in a spectacular walk-off knockout, sending the arena into celebration and reaffirming his dominance on home soil.
Genadi Jorjoliani
The night’s biggest upset belonged to Georgia’s Genadi Jorjoliani, who spoiled the promotional debut of undefeated Russian heavyweight Danylo Voievodkin.
Jorjoliani pressed forward from the outset, applying suffocating pressure that disrupted his opponent’s game plan. His aggression paid off when a crushing right hook dropped Voievodkin.
A barrage of elbows followed, forcing the referee to intervene and hand Jorjoliani a statement victory that immediately elevated his standing in the division.
Kurban Idrisov
Kurban Idrisov ensured his BRAVE CF debut would not go unnoticed. Representing Team KHK, the Bahraini prospect faced Belarusian veteran Artem Buloychik in a 73-kilogram catchweight contest.
Idrisov showcased sharp timing and creativity, stunning Buloychik with a perfectly executed flying knee. A high kick added further damage before he swarmed with punches along the fence.
The referee stepped in as Idrisov sealed a clinical stoppage, marking the arrival of an exciting new talent and capping off a thrilling night in Serbia.
