Just two days after BRAVE Combat Federation made global MMA history with its 100th event, the promotion returned to Khalifa Sports City on Sunday for BRAVE CF 101: KHK Legacy II — and Team KHK MMA Bahrain stole the show with a dominant clean sweep.
The 10-fight card, featuring nine professional bouts and one high-level amateur contest, continued the KHK Legacy Series’ mission of honouring Bahrain’s martial arts heritage while elevating emerging talent on the international stage.
In the main event, flyweight contender Muhammad Idrisov delivered a statement performance against Marciano Ferreira. Guided by newly crowned BRAVE CF Flyweight Champion Muhammad Mokaev in his corner, Idrisov controlled all three rounds and earned a unanimous decision win, strengthening his position among the division’s top names.
The co-main event ended swiftly as lightweight standout Ramazan Gitinov submitted Nursultan Asker in the first round with a rear-naked choke — the only submission of the night. The victory further solidified Gitinov’s reputation as one of BRAVE CF’s most dangerous grapplers.
Moroccan striker Youssef Boughanem continued his rapid evolution in MMA, stopping Anthony Zeidan with first-round strikes. In a thrilling catchweight matchup, Dias Yerengaipov edged Bayram Shammadov by split decision after a spirited three-round war.
A historic moment came when Bahrain’s Janahi twins — Khalifa and Abdulrahman — became the first brothers to earn wins on the same BRAVE CF card, both scoring explosive first-round finishes that brought the home crowd to its feet.
India and Pakistan renewed their combat sports rivalry when Punyajit Likharu faced Aqib Awan in a tense bantamweight contest. The bout ended in a technical draw following an accidental eye poke in Round 3.
Earlier fights showcased more Bahraini firepower as Ali Hasan Marhoon and Murad Guseinov secured first-round knockouts. Amateur standout Yousif Mohammed Kurdi opened the night with a dominant unanimous decision victory.
BRAVE CF 101 capped off the promotion’s milestone weekend by underlining Bahrain’s status as a rising global hub for MMA and reinforcing Team KHK MMA Bahrain’s dominance on home soil.
