BRAVE Combat Federation’s centennial event delivered everything fans hoped for and more.
Staged last Friday, November 7, at the vibrant Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town, BRAVE CF 100 showcased eight high-octane contests that kept the arena roaring from start to finish.
Among the explosive matchups and dramatic finishes, five warriors rose above the rest, delivering performances that defined the historic evening.
Borislav Nikolić
Competing in front of a crowd overwhelmingly behind their homegrown hero Hamza Kooheji, Serbia’s Borislav Nikolić embodied the mindset of a true champion.
In his first bantamweight title defense, he endured Kooheji’s early pressure, staying calm before gradually taking command of the fight.
With the clock winding down late in the fourth round, Nikolić unleashed a decisive barrage that forced a stoppage eerily close to the bell — just seven seconds before the horn.
It was the kind of finish that leaves no questions: the Serbian remains the uncontested king at 135 pounds.
Muhammad Mokaev
If the main event marked resilience, the co-main event belonged to brilliance.
Muhammad “The Punisher” Mokaev delivered a masterclass as he became the inaugural BRAVE CF Flyweight World Champion.
After patiently dissecting Gerard “The Animal” Burns in the opening moments, Mokaev struck with surgical precision — a sharp head kick followed instantly by a crushing left hand that ended the contest.
The emphatic win signaled the dawn of a new era at flyweight, with Mokaev seated firmly on the throne.
Mohamed Alsameea
Bahrain’s own Mohamed Alsameea ignited the arena with one of the night’s most explosive moments.
Charging at Egyptian fighter Mahmoud Amr from the opening bell, Alsameea connected with ruthless combinations before driving him to the canvas, where he hammered away until the referee stepped in.
The TKO came at just 45 seconds, making it one of the fastest finishes of the event — and a powerful reminder that Bahrain has a dangerous new contender building momentum.
Mim Grubb
England’s Mim Grubb combined grit with intelligence to secure one of the biggest wins of her young career.
Facing experienced Brazilian Fabiola Nascimento, Grubb overcame a tough first round, adjusted her approach, and steadily took control of the fight.
Her perseverance was rewarded in round three when she secured a tight rear-naked choke, forcing Nascimento to tap and cementing her status as a rising figure in BRAVE CF’s women’s roster.
Hussain Al Kurdi
BRAVE 100 opened with a moment of pure dominance from Bahrain’s Hussain Al Kurdi.
Meeting Egypt’s Nour Jopa in the event’s opening bout, Al Kurdi showcased maturity well beyond his experience, countering Jopa’s advances and seamlessly transitioning to grappling control.
Just 71 seconds into the fight, he locked in a rear-naked choke and earned a swift submission victory — instantly energizing the crowd and introducing himself as a genuine threat at super lightweight.
