Allycia Hellen Rodrigues Talks ONE Fight Night 41 Phetjeeja Title Clash

The women's striking division has been waiting for this moment for a long time. On March 14, the wait ends.

Reigning ONE Women's Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues and ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion Phetjeeja will finally collide in the main event of ONE Fight Night 41.

This contest puts Rodrigues' title on the line and gives the Thai star the chance to become a two-sport ONE World Champion.

For Rodrigues, this is not just another title defense. It is the culmination of a rivalry she has tracked from the very beginning.

"I've known Phetjeeja since before I came to live in Thailand, back when she used to fight boys. I always knew that this opportunity would come. And now it has arrived, and it is one of the biggest fights of my career. I am very excited," the Brazilian champion said.

Rodrigues' journey to this moment has been nothing short of remarkable. The 27-year-old arrived in ONE Championship as an unknown and immediately announced herself by upsetting Thai megastar Stamp Fairtex to claim the atomweight Muay Thai crown in her promotional debut.

Four successful defenses followed against world-class opposition, and she has never once been beaten at atomweight.

Two stunning knockouts in her most recent outings have further cemented her status as the division's most dangerous finisher, and she brings that momentum into the biggest fight of her title reign.

The champion, however, insists the occasion calls for nothing but total commitment from both sides.

"This is the fight everyone has wanted to see for a long time. It's not the first time I'm going to face a champion. I hope she is ready too, because it's going to be a war," Rodrigues said.

And war, she promises, is exactly what fans will witness.

"I can guarantee that it will be one of the biggest female fights of the year. And because of our styles, it will also be a very intense fight. A fight where no one will be able to blink," she said.
