ADCC India 2025 will take place on 13 December 2025 in Goa, marking the first major return of the tournament to the region after several years. According to ADCC India's Siddharth Singh, the decision to move the championship away from Delhi NCR came after consistent requests from athletes and gyms across South India. Competitors from Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and other southern cities often had to fly long distances to reach Delhi, making participation difficult each year.
Singh explained that ADCC India wanted to give these athletes better access. Goa became the ideal location because it is centrally placed, well-connected, and attractive to travelling competitors. This edition will be hosted at the Riva Beach Resort, a premium venue where athletes can walk straight to the beach after their matches. The upgraded setting highlights ADCC India’s commitment to improving the experience for participants.
Another major reason for selecting Goa is the rising grappling community in the western and southern parts of the country. With gyms rapidly growing in Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi and Mumbai, moving the tournament southward allows more participation and stronger competition.
The 2025 edition will also feature top-class officiating, with Shinya Kakita, the Head of Referees for ADCC Asia, flying in from Japan. Singh stated that the goal is to give athletes a world-standard platform where rules are clear, decisions are fair, and the environment reflects the level of ADCC globally.
With improved accessibility, a premium venue, and stronger competition, ADCC India 2025 aims to become the biggest and most inclusive edition in the country’s grappling history. ADCC India 2025 will be streamed live on the LockerRoom India YouTube Channel.
