Dr. Mike, a YouTube star, has confirmed that he donated his entire purse for his boxing debut to Ukraine Crisis Relief.

The social media sensation is a primary care physician from New York who is also known for his YouTube channel, where he reacts to memes and gives medical advice. He had been boxing for fitness purposes for a decade before popular creator Ian 'IDubbbz' Carter stated that he wanted an opponent for his own debut.

Mike Varshavski stepped up, and the pair, along with a slew of other social media stars, raised more than $1.3 million for charity with a night of exhibition fighting. He defeated IDubbbz by dominating the five-round competition and winning by unanimous decision.

Despite having already raised a significant amount of money for charity through the event, which sold over 100,000 pay-per-view streams, the doctor decided to donate the remainder of his earnings from the fight to a different charity.

He promised before the fight that he would donate to Ukraine after the devastation caused by Russia's invasion of the country where he was born, and he delivered on that promise yesterday.

On Instagram, he posted a screenshot of his American Express notification, which showed a $47,000 donation to the Global Giving Foundation, along with the message: "Proud to donate my entire Creator Clash payout to Global Giving's Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund." His message was reposted by the charity, which thanked him for his generous donation.
