UFC returned to pay-per-view with UFC 260 today which was headlined by the Heavyweight rematch between Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou.
In the main event, Francis Ngannou became the undisputed UFC Heavyweight champion by knocking out Stipe Miocic in the second round. Ngannou showed great improvement from the first fight by fending off a takedown attempt from Miocic in the first-round then followed it up with some excellent striking in the second round to knock out Miocic.
Vicente Luque secured a huge win in the co-main event. He submitted Tyron Woodley in the first round itself after landing some huge punches which took Woodley out of control. With the win, Luque improved his winning streak to three fights. Woodley, meanwhile, is now on a four-fight losing streak having lost to Kamaru Usman, Gilbert Burns, and Colby Covington in the last three fights.
Sean O’Malley made a triumphant return to the cage with a stoppage win over Thomas Almeida when Miranda Maverick and Gillian Robertson went the complete distance with Miranda getting a unanimous decision victory.
The opening fight of the Main card saw Jamie Mullarkey getting a first-round knockout win over Khama Worthy. Abubakar Nurmagomedov secured a decision win in the prelims as well. You can see the complete results from the event below.
