UFC 245: How and When to Watch in India

UFC 245 happens this weekend and is stacked from top to bottom. The show will be headlined by the Welterweight title fight between Colby Covington and Kamaru Usman and has two more title fights on offer.

Both Usman and Covington are riding high on momentum and are known for their wrestling prowess which makes the fight interesting. The bad blood between these two adds further to this showdown and promises a nail-biting affair.

Elsewhere, Max Holloway will be defending his UFC Featherweight Championship against Alexander Volkanovski in the co-main event while Amanda Nunes will go up against Germainede Randamie in a Bantamweight showdown.

Holloway has been unstoppable at Featherweight having secured wins against big names like Jose Aldo (2), Frankie Edgar, Anthony Pettis, Ricardo Lamas and Brian Ortega among others. Volkanovski, on the other hand, is successful in his own right. He holds victories over Jose Aldo, Chad Mendes, and Darren Elkins among others and has not lost since 2013.

The Amanda Nunes vs. Germaine de Randamie fight is bound to deliver big time as well. Nunes already has wins over some of the greatest WMMA Fighters including Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate, Holly Holm and Cris Cyborg. Randamie, meanwhile, comes in with a five-fight winning streak with her last defeat coming against Nunes back in 2013. With some history between them, it would be interesting to see who comes out on top.

The fight card will also see the return of Jose Aldo, who will be dropping down to Bantamweight to fight Marlon Moraes while Urijah Faber will be coming out of retirement to fight Petr Yan in a Bantamweight fight. While there were concerns about the weight cut of Aldo, he has successfully made weight and seems ready to go.
