The fight between Tial Thang and Sunoto Peringkat ended in a No Contest at ONE: Bad Blood. In the opening round, Thang was dictating the pace but got a yellow card from the referee for two groin strikes that broke the flow of the fight. Sunoto was unable to continue after the second groin kick and the fight was eventually declared a no contest. Thang came into the fight on the back of his first defeat in ONE Championship against Min Jong Song back in August 2022. Prior to this, Thang was on a three-fight winning streak which also includes his ONE Championship debut against Rin Saroth back in March 2019. After this, he secured wins over Woon Gyeom Kim and Paul Lumihi before fighting Min Jong Song.

Sunoto, on the other hand, is an experienced name in ONE Championship and has been fighting in the promotion since 2015. Prior to the fight, the Indonesian held a record of 12-7 to his name and was coming off a win over Nurul Fikri. Prior to this, he suffered a loss to Kwon Won II as well.

ONE: Bad Blood was headlined by the ONE Interim Heavyweight title fight between Anatoly Malykhin and Kirill Grishenko. It was originally supposed to be headlined by the Bantamweight title bout between Bibiano Fernandes and John Lineker but the fight fell through.
