He was trying to wrestle me in sauna, Tatiana details friendship with Khamzat

Khamzat Chimaev has been all around the headlines thanks to his dominant performances in the UFC. He currently holds an undefeated record of 10-0 to his name and is 4-0 in the UFC as well.

While Khamzat’s career is something that has captured the attention of MMA fans, his friendships outside the cage have also been headline makers. Khamzat’s relationship with Darren Till has been the source of many internet memes and now, UFC fighter Tatiana Suarez has opened up about her friendship with Khamzat.

In a recent interview with Helen Yee, Suarez recalled the time when Khamzat tried to wrestle her in the sauna.

“Whenever he sees me at the PI, he just comes and kicks me with like shins on shins. I’m like, ‘What are you doing? We don’t even have shin pads on.’ I’m like, whatever it’s okay……. The other day, he was trying to wrestle me in the sauna. I’m like, dude what’s happening, ‘Let’s not do this right here,” Suarez said.

Suarez has been out of action for a long time due to injury and noted that she is hoping to make her return in the Summer. Just like Khamzat, she also has an undefeated record to her name and is 8-0 in her professional MMA career. The American last fought back in 2019 against Nina Nunes and also holds a victory against UFC Strawweight title contender Carla Esparza.
