Stephen Loman of Team Lakay made an impressive promotional debut at ONE: Winter Warriors II when he stopped Yusup Saadulaev at the event. Loman managed to knock out Saadulaev in the first round itself and made a statement.

“I started out on a good note, and I was able to show the fruits of my training. I think this is a good sign of things to come, and I will continue to do my best to live up to the expectations of the fans,” Loman recalled in his recent interview with ONE Championship.

Now that he has taken out a top-ranked opponent in the division, Loman is looking forward to bigger and better things. Interestingly, Loman was scheduled to fight Bibiano Fernandes in his debut but the fight did not go through due to the pandemic.

“I am really not picky, but I want someone who’s higher than me in the rankings. Maybe I’m one fight away from it. I know that I’ll have to wait at least after the bout between Lineker and Bibiano,” Loman adds.
