Team Lakay star Stephen Loman has entered the ONE Bantamweight rankings. Loman debuted at three in the rankings following his win over Yusup Saadulaev and the Filipino MMA star is feeling grateful about the development.
"It was my debut fight and it is a great feeling to be at the top five after defeating a ranked opponent. I was positive that I will be climbing up the rankings, but surprisingly, they put me in the third spot. I'm so thankful,” Loman told ONE Championship.

Loman is currently on a nine-fight winning streak at the moment and improved his record to 15-2 with the win as well. Now that his debut is done, Loman is looking forward to his next challenge and he feels that Kwon Won II would be a good choice.
"I think Kwon Won [Il] will be a good match for me. Expect from me that I will give my everything to stay on the ladder and climb my way up to fight for the title at the soonest. I want to show the ever-supportive fans my striking ability and my ground game as well next time I step in the cage,” Loman said.
Kwon Won II is coming off a huge victory over Loman’s teammate and former champion Kevin Belingon. The South Korean is on a three-fight winning streak as well and holds a professional record of 10-3 to his name. Just like Loman, Kwon Won II also broke into the ONE Championship Bantamweight rankings this week as he debuted at the second position.
