Stephanie Egger secured yet another win in the UFC when she outclassed Jessica Rose-Clark at UFC Fight Night: Walker vs. Hill. Egger secured a first-round armbar submission over Clark and is now on a two-fight winning streak and improved her professional MMA record to 7-2.

The Swiss fighter was compared to Ronda Rousey during the post-fight press conference and Egger noted that she is going to pave her own path in the MMA World.

“I already fought against her in judo, so I know here. But I’m Stephanie. She’s Ronda. I want to go my own way in MMA,” Egger said (h/t MMA Junkie)

Egger is a decorated Judoka just like Ronda Rousey and had made her MMA debut back in 2015 after a run in the Judo circuit which saw her winning a gold in the European Under-23 Championships.

Adding further, the 33-year-old noted that she is looking to get a Top 10 opponent for her next event.

“(I want to get back) as soon as possible. I want to fight a lot. Maybe a top-10 contender would be great. It doesn’t matter (who it is). Top 10 is good for me,” she added.

She also recalled her fight with Clark and said that she is happy about her finish.

“I think it was a good performance. Last fight, I won in the second round. This fight, (it was) the first round. … I was thinking she’d do more standup, but then she was looking for the clinch. It was a little bit surprising, but it worked good for me,” Egger added.
