Stamp Fairtex vs. Angela Lee to happen at ONE X on 26 March 2022

The ONE Atomweight title showdown between Angela Lee and Stamp Fairtex will happen at ONE X on 26 March 2022. The announcement was made by ONE Championship chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong last day.

Stamp earned her shot at the ONE Atomweight title by winning the ONE Atomweight Grand Prix last year. The former ONE Super Series Double champion outclassed Alyona Rassohyna in the quarter-finals of the Grand Prix and went on to defeat Julie Mezabarba in the semifinals. Stamp then submitted Indian MMA star Ritu Phogat in the finals to win the Grand Prix title and earn the title shot.

Angela Lee, on the other hand, has been on a break from fighting since 2019. She took the break after her win against Jingnan Xiong at ONE: Century and currently holds a professional record of 10-2 to her name. Lee has been reigning on top of the ONE Atomweight division for a long time now and recently said that she is confident of getting the better of Stamp when they fight.

Apart from the showdown between Stamp Fairtex and Angela Lee, ONE X will also feature the Special rules bout between Demetrious Johnson and Rodtang when Adriano Moraes will defend his ONE Flyweight title belt against surging #2-ranked contender Yuya Wakamatsu.
