Sports Psychology and How Sports Psychologists can help Athletes is a topic that is not much explored. At the same time, the mental health of athletes and mental health, in general, has been the topic of many debates lately.

There is a lot of misconception out there which suggests that athletes are generally immune to stress and other mental health issues but several studies suggest that athletes reported symptoms of depression at a similar rate to the general population. A long list of athletes has opened up about the same as well with names like Simone Biles, Naomi Osaka, and Kevin Love among others being the most notable ones.
