Indian MMA fighter Sanjana George has signed with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). The announcement was made by Sanjana through her Instagram account today.
“It’s official! Signed with @wwe @wweindia. Hope to make you guys proud,” she wrote on her Instagram page.
Sanjana also went on to post a message on her Instagram story which you can read below.
“Big Thank you to everyone. Honestly, it's just the beginning of lots and lots of hard work. Thank you all for the support and love. I hope to do my very best to keep you all entertained and proud. Thank you to all my coaches who helped me get stronger and better. Love to my family and friends and thanking God most of all for this new chapter,” she noted.

Sanjana had attended the WWE trials held in India sometime back and has been an active name in the fitness and combat sports circuit. She has also competed and won across multiple Obstacle Course Races and has experience of competing in Mixed Martial Arts as well.

Hailing from Kerala, the addition of Sanjana is expected to be yet another step towards WWE’s future plans in India.
