Soul of Warriors 2 Postponed due to COVID-19 situation, targets January 2021

Soul of Warriors 2 has been postponed. The event was scheduled to take place on December 5, 2020, in Kolkata but now; the event is expected to happen in January 2021.

The announcement was made by the Soul of Warriors team through their social media channels. It was announced that one of the co-main event fighters tested positive while the team also confirmed that there will be no changes to the fight card.

“Dear All, As you all know that couple of issues are going around with the pandemic. Our Co-main event girl got test +ve for COVID and as there are travel restrictions going around, we are postponing the event (Soul of Warriors 2) in the month of January 2021. With concern of majority athletes, we are going with the same card and no changes will be made” the team wrote. 

Soul of Warriors 2 is expected to be headlined by the showdown between Kushal Vyas and Rohit Pundeer when the rematch between Priya Saini and Monika Ghag is scheduled to be the co-main event. Also on the card are names like Suraj Bahadhur, Hemant Wadekar, Surya Bhanupratap Singh among others. You can see the complete fight card below.
