Soul of Warriors 2 gets a new date, set to take place in Kolkata on January 9

Soul of Warriors 2 has a new date. The event will now take place in Kolkata on January 9, 2021, and will have the same fight card which was advertised earlier.

The event was scheduled to take place on December 5, 2020, earlier but the team had to postpone the same due to the on-going COVID-19 situation. An official statement from the Soul of Warriors team noted that one of the fighters had tested positive for COVID-19 while there were many travel restrictions as well due to which the event had to be postponed.

SOW 2 will be headlined by the fight between Kushal Vyas and Rohit Pundeer when the rematch between Priya Saini and Monika Ghag will serve as the co-main event. Both Kushal and Rohit come into the fight with plenty of experience on their resume and is bound to produce an exciting main event.

Priya and Monika, on the other hand, have some unfinished business to settle and both fighters are riding high on momentum having picked up stoppage wins in their last outings.

Also on the card is the professional MMA debut of Wushu star Surya Bhanupratapsingh who will be going up against Provanjan.
