Avinash Pandey vs. Mridul Saikia added to Soul of Warriors 2 Fight Card

The fight card of Soul of Warriors 2 has an interesting addition as Avinash Pandey will be fighting Mridul Saikia at the event. The fight will act as a replacement to the Surya Bhanu Pratap Singh vs. Provanjan fight which has been canceled after Surya Bhanu Pratap Singh was ruled out of the SOW 2 card due to the passing away of his grandmother.

Both Avinash Pandey and Mridul Saikia have been active in the Indian MMA circuit for some time now with both fighters securing impressive performances over the course of the last few years.

Avinash, who fights out of the Fitness Factory in Palghar, is coming into the fight on the back of a quick first-round finish in his last fight when Mridul, who trains out of Bidang MMA and Fitness, has been on a notable run himself with his latest outing coming at the Bidang MMA Club Wars where he secured a win. 

Soul of Warriors 2 happens on Saturday, January 9, 2021, in Kolkata and will be headlined by the fight between Kushal Vyas and Rohit Pundeer. Kushal and Rohit have promised first-round finishes in the fight which further raises the stakes. Also on the card are Hemant Wadekar vs. Suraj Bahadur and Priya Saini vs. Monika Ghag among a long list of other fights.
