Japanese MMA star Rin Nakai is interested in making a return to the UFC. Nakai mentioned the same through her Twitter account last day and noted that she is interested in a rematch with former Bantamweight champion Miesha Tate and kept the doors open for a fight with Valentina Shevchenko.

“Miesha Tate dropped to flyweight. It's the same class as me. I hope to rematch with Miesha Tate. I am confident to win. Please put me in the UFC. On the contrary, I want to play Valentina Shevchenko,” Nakai tweeted.

Nakai currently holds a professional MMA record of 22-2 to her name and saw both her losses coming in the UFC. She made her debut in the promotion back in 2014 against Miesha Tate and suffered a decision loss. This was followed by a decision loss against Leslie Smith in 2016 after which she left the UFC.

She fought in Pancrase, Deep Jewels, and Rizin after this and is now on a six-fight winning streak at the moment with all these six wins coming via finishes. The 35-year-old has 16 finishes from her 22 wins and has been a force to reckon with outside the UFC.
