Calicut is all set to host Pro Karate Title Belt Championship in January 2022. Named, War of Kumite Professional Championship, the event hopes to provide a platform for Karate athletes to compete and showcase their skills.

“We have seen many competitions across India in Karate but most of it is either Amateur or Sport Karate. There is a lack of professional Karate championships in the country and with the event, we hope to bridge the gap,” noted Binu Joseph who will be leading the project.

Binu Joseph will be joining hands with Vishnu K for the event and the duo has been actively organizing combat sports events across the state covering disciplines such as Muay-Thai, Kickboxing, and Grappling.

The dates and fight cards for the event are yet to be revealed by the team but are expected to be updated soon. For more details about the event and to reach out to the organizers, athletes can contact Binu Joseph (9946007505) or Vishnu K (9207111166).
