ONE Championship reveals quarter final matchups for Atomweight Grand Prix

ONE Championship has revealed the quarter-final matchups for the ONE Atomweight Grand Prix. The announcement was made on the social media pages of the promotion today.

Denice Zamboanga will be fighting Seo Hee Ham in the quarter-final when Stamp Fairtex will have a rematch with Alyona Rassohyna who handed Stamp’s first defeat in MMA. Elsewhere, Itsuki Hirata will be fighting Alyse Anderson when the experienced Meng Bo will go up against Indian MMA star Ritu Phogat.

The winner of Zamboanga vs. Seo Hee Ham will fight the winner of Alyona vs. Stamp when the winner of Itsuki vs. Alyse will fight the winner of Meng vs. Ritu in the semi-finals. The winners of these respective semi-finals will lock horns in the finals of the tournament. Earlier announcements indicated that the first-round matchups will happen on May 28, 2021, and the winner of the tournament will get a shot at ONE Atomweight champion Angela Lee as well.
