One of the Middleweight division’s finest talents has extended his stay in the BRAVE Combat Federation roster. Mzwandile ‘’Snakebone’’ Hlongwa will continue his rise towards the top of the weight class after signing a new long-term deal with the fastest-growing MMA organization in the world.

After debuting at BRAVE CF with a loss to Khamzat Chimaev, Mzwandile immediately bounced back and showed why he’s only one of two men to take the superstar to the second round. His unanimous decision victory over Jeremy Smith in his native South Africa earned Fight of The Year honors in 2019.

Less than a year later, he traveled to the Kingdom of Bahrain to take on Dominic Schober. In another thriller, he beat his Austrian counterpart by technical knockout, after a referee stoppage due to a cut. Before that, however, he landed one of the cleanest spinning-back fists, which almost knocked Schober out.

The fight against Dominic was also a candidate for Fight of the Year in 2020, which proves ‘’Snakebone’’ is guaranteed entertainment. With two straight wins, he can move to title contendership very soon in case he keeps his current form.

Hlongwa has earned a big reputation as one of the most dangerous strikers, especially with his spinning-back fists which have made several victims in the local circuit before he moved up to the global stage.
