Will finish in first-round: Muhammad Mokaev calls for showdown with Sean OMalley

After his blockbuster debut in the UFC, Muhammad Mokaev has called out Sean O’Malley.

The former IMMAF World Champion stopped Cody Durden in the first round this past week at UFC London and improved his professional MMA record to 7-0. Prior to this, he was on a 23-fight winning streak in the amateur circuit.

After his win, Mokaev expressed his interest in fighting Sean O’Malley and said that he could make the move to Bantamweight if required.

“Are you available July 2nd in Vegas? @SugaSeanMMA (Sean O’Malley. I’ll finish you in round one, I don’t care what weight, I’ll come to your division UK vs. USA round 2 but this time in USA,” Mokaev Tweeted.

Mokaev fought in BRAVE Combat Federation prior to his run in the UFC where he had secured five wins.

Sean O’Malley currently holds a professional MMA record of 15-1 to his name and is currently on a three-fight winning streak. His only loss came against Marlon Vera back in UFC 252 and he is 7-1 in the UFC after entering in the promotion through Dana White’s Contender Series.
