Muhammad Mokaev has penned his first professional contract after wrapping up a legendary amateur career. Mokaev is the latest addition to the BRAVE Combat Federation roster as the young star has signed on to make his professional debut under the banner of the fastest-growing mixed martial arts organization in the world.
The newly-turned pro has a tremendous amateur record and hasn't tasted defeat in 23 bouts.
The KHK MMA representative is a two-time junior world champion, two-time European world champion, and was also the number one ranked junior fighter on the globe regardless of weight-classes. Earlier this year he made the jump to the senior rankings of Amateur MMA and promptly won the Oceania Open before deciding to turn pro.
BRAVE CF President Mohammed Shahid has expressed his delight at the signing, claiming Mokaev is a future star of mixed martial arts and an example of the promotion's eye for talent on the global circuit.
“Muhammad Mokaev for me is the new norm of MMA. Having huge experience at the amateur level, we have to acknowledge that Mokaev is special. This kid is pound-for-pound #1 in the amateur world. His confidence and skillset today, even with no pro bouts to his name, make him easily one of the top prospects on the road to be the best fighter in the world in the next five years. He is in BRAVE CF to fight the best fighters in the world because he wants to be the best in the world,” he noted.
Mokaev, who represented Great Britain as an amateur, is seen as the future of the sport due to his generational talents, which have been well-honed under KHK MMA, one of the most successful development programs in the world today, with Muhammad also spending time at Tiger Muay Thai, in Thailand.
Muhammad's first BRAVE Combat Federation bout will be announced in due time as the most exciting prospect in the world now turns his attentions to making sure he has a successful professional debut under the brightest lights of MMA.
