Mohammad Fakhreddine has his eyes firmly on the Brave CF Middleweight title

Press Release
04 December 2019

Fresh off a heroic performance at the KHK World Championships, Mohammad Fakhreddine wants everyone to know he's ready to move on and be back in the title picture.

As BRAVE Combat Federation gets ready to crown its first Middleweight world champion, "The Latest" wants a piece of the winner between Chad Hanekom and Daniel Gaucho. They will face each other in the main event of BRAVE CF 31, set for Durban, South Africa, on December 7th.

Through his social media profiles, Fakhreddine expressed an interest in facing the winner, after coming back to BRAVE CF with a quick leg-kick TKO win over Christofer Silva, then reaching the final of the KHK World Championship after a courageous performance beating the heavier Kleber Orgulho in the semifinal of the one-night, open weight tournament.

On his Instagram stories, the Lebanese phenom claimed he was "hungry again" and wanted to be fed the winner of the main event of BRAVE CF 31, also asking BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid to make the fight happen.

However, in order to be booked as the first challenger of the new Middleweight champion, Fakhreddine will have to waive off the challenge of Phil Hawes. The American wrestler had a stellar debut for BRAVE CF last week, as he dismantled Dominik Schober at BRAVE CF 30, and also challenged the winner of Hanekom vs Gaucho.

BRAVE CF 31 marks the return of the fastest-growing MMA organization in the world to the continent of Africa. BRAVE Combat Federation remains the sole global promotion to host a show in the continent and will go to Africa for the third time, the second in South Africa.

The event will be headlined by the first-ever Middleweight title bout as Chad Hanekom battles Daniel Gaucho, with the winner being crowned the first-ever BRAVE CF world champion at 185 lbs.
