Boxing legend Mike Tyson is all set to make his return to the run in an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. on September 12, 2020, at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

The fight will be on pay-per-view and a 10-part-docuseries featuring the build-up to the fight will also be featured on multimedia platform Thriller.

Tyson, who is 50-6 in his boxing career, is currently 54-years-old and had been posting training videos on his social media accounts lately. Jones, meanwhile, is 66-9 in his career and is currently 51-years-old while boasting a very strong resume of his own.

In a statement given to ESPN, Tyson had revealed the reason for the return as well.

"It's because I can do it. And I believe other people believe they can do it too. Just because we are 54, it doesn't mean that we have to start a new career and our lives are totally over. Not when you feel as beautiful as I do, and I'm sure that other people feel the same way,” he noted.

Jones, meanwhile had expressed his interest to fight Tyson a couple of weeks back and added that a lot of people wanted to see this fight.
