Matrix Fight Night 7: Dhruv Chaudhary vs. Sumeet Khade set to be the co-main

Matrix Fight Night has announced a blockbuster co-main event for Matrix Fight Night 7 as Dhruv Chaudhary will lock horns with Sumeet Khade. The announcement was made by MFN today through their social media pages.

Dhruv and Sumeet have plenty of history between them having fought twice already. In the first meeting, it was Sumeet that came out on top when in the second meeting, Dhruv Chaudhary secured a decision victory to level the rivalry to 1-1. The much-awaited trilogy between the two fighters was scheduled to happen at Matrix Fight Night 6 in Dubai but the fight was canceled at the last minute after Sumeet failed to make weight. Matrix Fight Night has now rebooked the fight for MFN 7 and it would be interesting to see who takes home the trilogy.

Sumeet is coming into the fight on the back of a viral knockout win over Angad Bisht and had secured a win over Pawan Goyat prior to this as well.

Dhruv, meanwhile, has not fought since his win over Sumeet back at Matrix Fight Night 3. He has so far fought thrice in Matrix Fight Night and is 2-1 in the promotion having picked up his other win against Pawan Goyat.

Where and when will Matrix Fight Night 7 happen?

Matrix Fight Night 7 will happen on December 10, 2021. The event will be held at the Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad, Telangana, and will be having 10 fights on the card. The event will be sanctioned by the All India Mixed Martial Arts Association (AIMMAA) and GAMMAF.
