Matrix Fight Night happens tomorrow in Mumbai and just like the Main Card, the amateur card is stacked as well.
The amateur card will host three exciting fights with Siddharth Singh Dhami going up against Surya Negi, Abhimanyu Rai fighting Shashikant Singh and Krishna Heer locking horns with Ajay Tomar.
Siddharth, who secured a solid win in the last MFN event, will have his hands full with Surya Negi who is fighting out of MMA Matrix Gym. But Siddharth is riding high on confidence after securing multiple wins at the recently held AIMMAA Championship.
“Fans can expect a high action performance, man this time. I’m even more excited and more prepared last month I fight in AIMMAA national and won all 3 of my fights and finish all of them, I am confident because of that, and as my opponent is training under good coaches he will be more technical than my last opponent, so I am really excited and fans can expect high action,” Siddharth said.
Meanwhile, Abhimanyu Rai also has a similar story to share. He won his last fight at Matrix Fight Night in style and has a strong opponent in his hand at the moment in Shashikant Singh. Abhimanyu promises a war when the cage door gets shut on Friday night.
“This fight is going to be war. I improved myself a lot I learned new things and worked on basic I'm coming with good form I won AIMMAA national and I'm ready for fight. For my opponent let's see how much punishment he can take from me,” Abhimanyu said.
Shashikant is not short on confidence as well. Training out of Crosstrain Fight Club, he feels that he has enough ammunition in him to get the job done.
“I am completely at different level. I train with professionals. I can do both ground and striking. And the most important thing is I analyse the situation in cage,” Shashikant noted.
The third amateur fight of the night will see Krishna Heer and Ajay Tomar in action. Both fighters have plenty of experience in the domestic scene and it would be interesting to see who comes out on top.
