Luan "Miau" Santiago will look to continue his return to the top of the Lightweight division on home turf. The former BRAVE CF world champion will face off against dangerous submission artist Amin Ayoub at BRAVE CF 35, on March 28th, in Balneário Camboriú, Brazil. The bout was announced by officials and will be a part of the main card for the show.

Santiago scored the KO of the Year of 2019 in April, as he became BRAVE CF Lightweight world champion with a stunning spinning-back elbow against then-champ Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady. However, he lost the title a few months after that to arch-rival Cleiton "Predator" as the duo headlined BRAVE CF 25, in Belo Horizonte.

However, a rollercoaster year for "Miau" ended on a high, as he got back to action at Super Lightweight against Gadzhimusa Gaziev, beating the Russian powerhouse in Bahrain, at BRAVE CF 29.

He will look to continue his comeback story against Amin Ayoub. The Frenchman will not be an easy task for "Miau". "Fierceness" is coming off a career-high victory over Djamil Chan by submission in his BRAVE CF debut in South Africa. Ayoub comes into his fight in Brazil riding a six-fight win streak.

BRAVE CF 35 marks the fifth time the fastest-growing MMA organization in the world hosts an event in Brazil. The country will become the number one home of BRAVE Combat Federation alongside the Kingdom of Bahrain. The show is headlined by Cleiton "Predator" making the first defence of his Lightweight title against Guram Kutateladze. Other big names are expected to be confirmed in the coming days.
