UFC Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman is helping Gilbert Burns to prepare for the fight against Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 273. The showdown between Burns and Khamzat will be one of the biggest attractions on the card which happens on April 9 at the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena in Florida.
Speaking in a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Burns revealed that Usman helping him for the fight against Khamzat is like Rocky and Apollo Creed training together.
"That's Rocky and Apollo, you know. Apollo beat Rocky and came out to help out so yeah... and to be honest, I make peace with that, you know, the guy beat me, okay, congratulations. I don't have that personal thing. For sure I want to become a champion but I'm not after Kamaru. I'm after the title, I want to become a champion, I want to become the best but I don't have no beef, nothing personal, no grudge, nothing against Kamaru,” he said (via Sportskeeda).

Burns, on the other hand, secured a win against Stephen Thompson at UFC 264. He currently holds a record of 20-4 to his name.
Khamzat, on the other hand, has been a force to reckon with in the UFC and holds an undefeated record of 10-0 to his name. The Swede is 4-0 in the UFC as well.
