WATCH: When UFC star Khamzat Chimaev fought in India

Khamzat Chimaev is hands down one of the fastest rising stars in the UFC at the moment. He currently has an undefeated professional MMA record to his name and at the same time, is undefeated in the UFC as well.

Prior to his blockbuster entry into the UFC, Khamzat Chimaev had a memorable run in BRAVE Combat Federation and this included him fighting in India.

For the uninitiated, Khamzat had four fights in BRAVE Combat Federation with his run in the promotion starting back in 2018 when he fought Marko Kisic. Khamzat was 2-0 at that time and after securing a TKO win over Kisic, Khamzat went on to headline BRAVE CF 20 in India against Sidney Wheeler.

It was a first-round victory for Khamzat in the fight and after this, he fought two more times in the promotion before moving to the UFC. In a recent exclusive interview with us, BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid had noted that one of the major reasons for Khamzat’s current popularity in India was his fight at BRAVE CF 20.
