UFC president Dana White is open to the idea of having Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson as The Ultimate Fighter Coaches. Dana revealed the same during his recent interview with Spinnin Backfist and added that he expects them to fight each other if it happens.

"Do you like it? So you’re telling me, you guys as fans, media, whatever it might be, like the idea of two guys possibly coaching that wouldn’t fight each other? I’ll consider it. Congratulations. Okay. I will absolutely entertain that idea. Hopefully, they'll get so pissed off at each other that they'll actually want to fight. I'm in, you sold me,” Dana said (h/t SportsKeeda).

Recently, Khabib had also expressed his interest in being a coach in The Ultimate Fighter although he ruled out the possibility of making a return to the Octagon.

The Russian MMA star retired from the competition while he was reigning as the UFC Lightweight champion and has been busy with his roles as a coach and promoter. He had recently pushed the idea of Islam Makhachev getting a title shot as well.

As for Tony Ferguson, he is currently on a four-fight losing streak at the moment having lost to Justin Gaethje, Charles Oliveira, Beneil Dariush, and Michael Chandler. Prior to this, he was on a 12-fight winning streak that started back in 2014.

Ferguson has been vocal about his interest in fighting Khabib for a long time as well. What do you think of the potential showdown between Khabib and Ferguson as TUF Coaches? Let us know in the comments below.
