The future of Kayla Harrison is yet to be decided. The two-time PFL Champion is still a free agent at the moment and she is apparently gauging her options. One of the major hurdles in front of Kayla now is the fact that not many promotions have a Women’s Lightweight division.
To bypass the same, Kayla is considering the possibility of moving to Bantamweight. She revealed the same during an interview with ESPN recently. She also added that she is open to a fight with current UFC Bantamweight champion Julianna Pena.
“I’m considering it. I heard that Julianna said she’d move up to 145 if they paid her enough, so that’s good news. That means I don’t have to chop off an arm. ... I want to be the best. Everyone is talking about her....Why not? I have to conquer one mountain at a time, though. Whatever mountain comes next,” she said (h/t MMA Fighting).

Interestingly, Kayla won her Olympic medal at 170 Pounds when she won her PFL titles at 155 pounds. The drop to Bantamweight would likely be a huge one for her despite the fact that there will be more options available as opponents.
