Jake Paul is open to a boxing match with former UFC champion Anderson Silva. The YouTube sensation noted the same during his appearance at The MMA Hour last day and said that Silva was the first celebrity that he saw.
“Yes; definitely, definitely. I would love that fight. And the interesting story – I think he was the first celebrity I ever saw. So, right when MMA was blowing up, my dad was a super-big fan. And we went to this local MMA event. And they must’ve paid Anderson Silva to come because it was in Ohio. So, I don’t know why he would’ve been there. But I actually asked for his autograph. And we took a picture with him. And I was like, this tall,” he said (h/t MMA Fighting).

Anderson Silva retired from MMA with a record of 34-11 to his name and ten successful title defenses as the UFC Middleweight champion. He also holds the record for the longest title reign in UFC history for his reign which lasted 2457 days.
After his retirement from MMA, Silva has been an active name in professional boxing and secured two wins with the first coming against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and the second coming against Tito Ortiz.
Jake Paul, on the other hand, has been on an impressive run in his professional boxing career and has a record of 5-0 to his name right now. He secured two wins over former UFC Welterweight champion Tyron Woodley recently and prior to that, he had also defeated former UFC fighter and ONE Championship champion Ben Askren.
