ADCC champion and ONE Championship star Gordon Ryan feels that he can easily beat Khabib Nurmagomedov and Khamzat Chimaev in a grappling match.
Gordon was replying to the questions that came under his Instagram post recently and noted that both Khamzat and Khabib and generalists who would not be able to hang in with him.
“Generalist(s) usually won’t beat specialists in their domain. Generalists never beat the absolute best specialists. A submission grappling match wouldn’t be competitive, objectively,” the BJJ Phenom wrote when asked about a match with Khamzat Chimaev.

When asked about a potential showdown with Russian superstar and former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, Ryan had a similar answer and noted that Khabib is a Generalist.
“Khabib is a generalist. These are very silly questions lol. No one who specializes in jiu-jitsu can beat me. Why would an MMA fighter be able to?,” he added.
Currently signed to ONE Championship, Gordon is a three-time ADCC World Championship Gold Medallist and has won 145 of his recorded 157 submission grappling matches. He is also a two-time IBJJF No-Gi World champion and a four-time Eddie Bravo Invitational champion.
