Farhan Siddique hoping to keep youth away from drugs with his new gym

Farhan Siddique has been an active name in the Indian MMA circuit for a long time now. After a long gap from the competition, he recently made his return with a submission victory at Pro Combat Fight League in Haryana and is looking forward to having an active year in 2021.

While he is indeed eager to get back into the cage more often, he has also started his own gym in Maharashtra named Combat 360 MMA and Performance Centre. In fact, setting up the gym was one of the reasons why he stayed away from competing for a long time.

“I was working so hard and collecting money and I opened my own gym in my hometown. I hope to engage the young generation in sports rather than going into medical drugs. I and Mohammed Farhad come from the same hometown and we’ve seen and experienced ourselves that the youth in our area can be steered into the right direction through sports,” he said in an exclusive statement.

Farhan is trying to tie up with Government authorities as well for the same and hopes to balance both his career and his gym in the years to come. He mentioned that although MMA will be his focus, he hopes to compete across multiple disciplines in 2021 so that he can gain as much experience as possible.

Another goal that Farhan has for 2021 is to get into the cage with Vikas Ruhil. According to Farhan, he was supposed to fight Vikas at Matrix Fight Night in Dubai but due to his poor health, Farhan had to withdraw from the fight.

“I’ve recovered from everything and I’m more experienced and skilled than I ever was. I’m just looking for a good coach who can help me,” he concluded.
