18-year-old Faizan Anwar is currently enjoying his stay on top of the BoxRec Welterweight rankings for India after he recently secured a huge win in Dubai.

Faizan, who is undefeated in his professional boxing career, got the win over Gideon Agbosu via a TKO at the Caesars Palace in Dubai back in March which has catapulted him to the top of the welterweight rankings for Indian boxers.

Interestingly, Faizan currently tops the division which also has the experienced veteran Neeraj Goyat who is ranked second at the moment. Deepak Tanwar is placed in the third position while Vaibhav Singh Yadav is on fourth. Shiva rounds up the top five rankings in the division.

Born in Kolkata, Faizan made his professional debut last year and has been a force to reckon with ever since having piled up three back-to-back wins including his recent one in Dubai. His first win came back in Thailand where he defeated Anucha Noithong when his second victory came in the Philippines when he got the better of Jun Paderna.
