Road to BRAVE CF 46: Eldar Eldarov and Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, Rise of Mafra

BRAVE Combat Federation’s first-ever event in Russia will take place on January 16th, in association with Krepost Selection. In the main event, Eldar Eldarov will put his Super-Lightweight crown on the line for the first time against top contender Leonardo Mafra.

In anticipation of their world title clash, BRAVE CF has released Road to BRAVE CF 46, a documentary that goes behind the scenes of both men’s journeys towards Sochi, and shines a light on the people around them who have made their rise possible.

Eldarov is relishing the challenge of coming up to fight in his native Russia, but won’t forget his roots. He has trained under the legendary Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov since 2004, and this will be the first time he won’t rely on the help of his master, who sadly passed away last year. Nevertheless, Eldar is ready to showcase the knowledge he acquired during these years under Abdulmanap.

For Mafra, the title fight couldn’t come at a better time. Having recently added father to his list of titles with the birth of baby Bella, the Brazilian striker is ready to put it all on the line in search of a place in the history books.

BRAVE CF 46 will introduce Russia as the 21st country to host BRAVE CF events. Aside from the main event, the fastest-growing global organization will put together several world-class fights with athletes such as Ali Bagautinov, Roman Bogatov, Konstantin Erokhin, and Rustam Chsiev all expected to be in action.
