Demetrious Johnson to fight Adriano Moraes for ONE Flyweight title in February

Demetrious Johnson is all set to fight ONE Flyweight Champion Adriano Moraes for the title in February, 2021.

The announcement was made by ONE Championship last day on their social media platforms and the promotion revealed that the fight will happen on 24 February 2021 although no further details were revealed.

“Save the date! Demetrious Johnson is BACK on 24 February against ONE Flyweight World Champion Adriano Moraes.” ONE Championship wrote.

The fight between Johnson and Moraes was originally scheduled to happen back in April 2020 at ONE: Reign of Dynasties but the event had to be called off due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Demetrious Johnson is currently undefeated in ONE Championship having picked up three wins in the promotion after signing back in 2018. He had also won the ONE Flyweight Grand Prix as well during his run in the promotion.

Moraes, on the other hand, has two successful title defenses under his belt and will be looking to continue his impressive run in the Flyweight division when he fights Johnson.
