Fighters land in Bahrain for BRAVE International Combat Week 2022

BRAVE International Combat Week has taken off with the arrival of fighters to the Kingdom of Bahrain for the much awaited BRAVE CF 57. The weeklong activities are going to feature the best entertainment, an action-packed fight card, and highlight 24 fighters from across 17 nations.

BRAVE International Combat Week is taking place from the 8th to the 12th of March and includes the inaugural MMA Super Cup, the first-ever nation vs nation amateur mixed martial arts competition with a $225,000 prize pool awarded to national federations to reinvest in the development of mixed martial arts in their countries. 8 nations will be competing to prove itself as the best amateur mixed martial arts team in the world. Ireland, Oceania, Mexico, Arab champs, Tajikistan, Bahrain, Kazakhstan, and the Balkans are sending the best 9 amateur fighters in the country to prove the richness of the nation’s talent pool and solidify their legacy in the history of mixed martial arts.

Agshin Babaev has landed looking heavier as the veteran Featherweight will be competing in a Lightweight bout against no other than Europe’s best young talents Husein Kadimagomaev. This will be Kadimagomaev’s first fight back at BRAVE Combat Federation since his war of a fight against Tae Kyun Kim at BRAVE CF 50.

Nursulton Ruziboev, one of the top ranked Super Welterweight in Central Asia, has also been spotted at Wyndham Garden in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Uzbekistani slam KO master is returning with a dominating 7 fight win streak and facing Brazil’s Luis Felipe Dias, a BJJ Black Belt with 13 wins by stoppage, 7 by KO/TKO and 6 by submission. The Brazilian national champion will be debuting at BRAVE Combat Federation this Friday March 11th.

BRAVE CF 57 will be headlined by three world champion title fights where the fastest growing promotion in the world will crown a Bantamweight, Light Heavyweight, and Interim Lightweight World Champion. The event will be taking place at Khalifa Sports City and is one of BRAVE Combat Federation’s first events with crowds in its home nation since the COVID-19  pandemic.

The fights will be broadcasted globally on OKKO, DAZN, MBC / SHAHID.NET, Arena Sport, O2, FIGHTING.DE, LOOKSPORT+, BAHRAIN TV, and for everyone else around the world on BRAVE CF TV. The event begins at 6:00 PM (GMT+3)
