The much-awaited rematch between Mohammad Fakhreddine and Mohammed Said Maalem happens this weekend at BRAVE CF 57. The stakes are high for the fight and the Light Heavyweight title is also on the line.
The first time these two went head-to-head, the fight had a controversial ending after it was ruled as a no-contest due to illegal blows. All the debates are expected to be put to rest at BRAVE CF 57 and Mohammad Fakhreddine notes that he is coming for the finish.
The reigning BRAVE Middleweight champion, Fakhreddine said in an exclusive interview that Said made the rivalry personal.
“He is going to walk forward. I’m going to try and finish him and this fight is not going the distance. At the end of the fight, I will have my hands raised no matter what. I’m coming to finish. I’m coming to get that second title,” he said.
He also added that becoming the double champion in BRAVE Combat Federation will be a huge achievement as it would open a lot of doors for him.
Fakhreddine also added that he is proud of how BRAVE Combat Federation has grown over the years.
The Lebanese superstar is currently 14-4 in his professional MMA career and had outclassed Daniel Pereira in his fight prior to the one with Said Maalem. He made his promotional debut back in BRAVE CF 4 and has been an integral part of the promotion throughout the years.
