After two major announcements for its return to Russia, BRAVE Combat Federation has announced a pivotal middleweight contest that will take place on November 6th, at BRAVE CF 55, in association with PRO FC.

Former BRAVE CF Middleweight world champion Daniel “Gaucho" Pereira is set to battle Rustam “The Russian Bear” Chsiev—with the winner possibly getting a future shot at the title currently held by Mohammad Fakhreddine.

Pereira is one of the top middleweights to emerge from Brazil in recent history. He has steamrolled through the competition in Brazil, with a knack for winning by stoppage, and has continued his ways when joining the truly global promotion, scoring two brutal knockouts to capture the 185-pound belt before losing it to Fakhreddine.

Chsiev has firmly established himself as one of the top athletes in his weight class, racking up three-straight victories under the organization’s banner. “The Russian Bear” was a bronze medalist at ADCC, the premier grappling competition in combat sports, and has two huge finishes to his name in his two latest outings.

Fighting for gold seems to be within striking distance if Chsiev manages to take down the most decorated opponent that he’s going to face in his professional career thus far.

BRAVE CF 55 will be headlined by a Flyweight tournament semifinal bout as legend Ali Bagautinov takes on top 125-pounder Jose ‘’Shorty’’ Torres, with the winner going on to face Velimurad Alkhasov in the final.
