A colossal lightweight clash will close out BRAVE Combat Federation’s inaugural live event in Minsk, Belarus on June 4th, but fans around the globe will be treated to an explosive supporting card.
Before Brazil’s very own Lucas “Mineiro” Martins and Mohamed Grabinski square off in the headliner of BRAVE CF 51: THE FUTURE IS HERE, Russian Featherweight stars Roman Bogatov and Abdulmutalip Gairbekov will try to steal the spotlight from the marquee matchup as they face each other inside the state-of-the-art Falcon Club Arena.
Diehard followers of the sport can expect a contest between two well-rounded athletes who are usually in exciting matches because of their tenacity, durability, and stamina. Both are best known for their grappling skills, but they have been known to thrill on the feet as well.
Currently ranked as the No. 1 featherweight in Russia with a remarkable professional record of 11-1, Bogatov is never in a boring fight and always remains a threat regardless of the opponent in front of him.
With an array of diverse striking skills coupled with solid submission grappling credentials, the 30-year-old Orenburg, Russia native has his sights on claiming victory once again inside the BRAVE CF cage at the expense of compatriot Gairbekov.
However, Gairbekov is no slouch, owning a seasoned 15-2-1 slate to go along with an impressive wrestling background that allows him to execute impeccable grappling techniques to subdue his foes and a notable victory against Petr Yan as an amateur.
Gairbekov hasn’t tasted defeat in nearly nine years as he is currently riding high on a 12-bout winning streak. He looks to extend his strife by toppling fellow Russian Bogatov in his highly-anticipated promotional debut at BRAVE CF 51: THE FUTURE IS HERE.
A convincing win by either man could make a strong case to get a shot at the vacant BRAVE CF Featherweight World Championship.
