Austria’s Dominic Schober is about to have his second shot at BRAVE Combat Federation, as he takes on South Africa’s Mzwandile Hlongwa at BRAVE CF 44, on November 5th, in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It promises to be a very entertaining fight, with two of the most aggressive fighters in the Middleweight division clashing.

But before stepping into the cage, during an Instagram live interview with BRAVE CF’s color commentator Phil Campbell, Schober took some time to thank a supporter who helped to maintain him on the martial arts path during the tough times of the pandemic, although he preferred to keep the person’s identity undisclosed.

“It was very tough for us because the pandemic hit Europe very hard. At first we managed to get some training done but eventually it was getting harder and harder. But there was this person and I’m very thankful because this person put me back on track and made me realize that I had to be back”.

Asked by Campbell if he wanted to share the person’s identity, Schober said. “I rather not. Let’s keep it as a secret. But of course the person will know who I’m talking about”.

Schober made his debut for BRAVE CF back in November of last year, as he lost to Phil Hawes at BRAVE CF 30, in India. Now, in his first bout in the Kingdom of Bahrain, he gets a second crack and hopes to honor the mysterious supporter with a vicious victory over Hlongwa.

Brave CF 44 takes place on November 5th, in Riffa, and will kick-off the second leg of the prestigious “Kombat Kingdom” series, the event will be headlined by the Lightweight title fight between Cleiton Predator and Amin Ayoub. A week later, on November 12, BRAVE CF 45 will close the schedule.
