Indian boxers Akashdeep Singh and Sabari J are set to fight for the inaugural WBC India title. The fight will serve as the co-main event of the Hell’s Bay event hosted by The Indian Art Revolution on 5 December 2021 in Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad.

Managed by Grassroot Boxing Promotions and Management, both Akashdeep and Sabari come into the fight with plenty of momentum. Patiala’s Akashdeep currently holds a professional boxing record of 7-1 to his name and is coming off a win against Puran Dev. He has competed across the nation since making his professional debut in 2018 and has 1 stoppage win on his resume.

Sabari, meanwhile, hails from Tamil Nadu and made his professional boxing debut back in 2020. Although he started off with a loss, he managed to build a four-fight winning streak after this and has earned himself a spot to fight for the title. He is currently 4-1 in his professional boxing career with one win coming via stoppage. Sabari’s only loss came against Karthik Sathish who will be fighting for the WBC Asia Silver Title in the main event.

The WBC Asia Silver Title fight featuring India’s Karthik Sathish will serve as the main event for the show. Undefeated Karthik will be going up against Heru Purwanto of Indonesia at the event in an attempt to make history for Indian boxing.
