The Inner Circle 30: Superbon Backs Protege Rambolek To Defend ONE Title

No one understands Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon better than the man who trains him every day. Reigning ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon steps into the spotlight ahead of his student's first ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title defense against Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri in the main event of The Inner Circle 30 on Friday, September 1, broadcasting on live.onefc.com.

Rambolek burst onto the scene through the ONE Friday Fights circuit. The Superbon Training Camp product claimed the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Championship in March this year, defeating Nabil Anane in a gruelling five-round battle via unanimous decision to cap a six-fight winning streak.

Now the belt is on the line for the first time, and his trainer is watching every training session with the eye of a champion who understands exactly what it takes to perform at this level.

"I've been sparring and light-sparring with him myself. I feel like the moment he can trade technical moves with me and match my skill level, he can fight anyone — whether in his weight class or anywhere in ONE Championship," Superbon said.

Standing across from Rambolek will be Yod-IQ, who carries a 127-36 striking record and a 10-fight win streak into the title challenge.

Two fighters who took remarkably similar paths to the top of the bantamweight division now meet for the ultimate prize, and Superbon is under no illusions about the quality of the challenger his student faces on September 11.

"I'd say it's a 50/50. It's all going to come down to fight IQ and quick thinking. But I feel Rambolek will have a tiny edge over Yod-IQ when it comes to sharpness and fight IQ, just a slight hair ahead," he explained.

For Superbon, this fight is deeply personal. It is not just a student defending a title. It is a shared mission between a coach and a champion who have built something together at Superbon Training Camp.
